• Sept. 16, 2008: Our recent paper is published. Thanks for everyone for their help with this research.
• Aug 5,2008: We have been using EON to test some improvements to our algorithm. This is working very well now, and the results are being published in a new paper to appear in the Journal of Chemical Physics. Here is a preprint. Thanks for everyone for their help with this research.
• Apr 8,2007: There have been some requests for a progress report. Here are a few highlights.
  
• Nov 10,2006: A new algorithm has been implemented on the server side that has reduced the downtime. The algorithm treats nearby states connected by a low barrier as a single state in equilibrium. This approximation avoids the many oscillations between these states. This work was all done on the server, during which the server would not talk to clients (giving the zzz's). Now, we should see less of these annoying delays. Nice job Lijun!
  
• Aug 4,2006: Thanks for your emails. I've been out of town and am just getting this back to how they should be. All stats from the past few days will be caught up now, and will continue to accumulate properly.
  
• June 5,2006: We've been asleap at the wheel and let the stats slip for almost a week. All work units from the week are being credited right now. Thanks to Les Griffith for the wake-up call.
  
• Mar 1,2006: The industrious folks at www.equn.com have translated this page into chinese. Thanks!
  
• Feb 22,2006: Updated windows installer now sets the correct path for the client.exe shortcut.

• Aug 20,2005: Added a benchmark program, available on the download page.
• Aug 5,2005: Building wide power and cooling outage planed for Aug 7. Eon could be down for the entire day.
• July 7,2005: Server memory replaced. The server has been down for 6 days, over the July 4th weekend, waiting for new memory. The server is up now, and seems to be working fine.
• May 8,2005: New Detailed Statistics page
  Features: You can make searches of individual Emails/Team names and get the results sorted according to overall standing/current month/current week/current day.
• Apr 13,2005: Running Multiple Copies
  Information: If you want to run multiple copies of EON, Please make sure, you do the following steps:
  1. Make a new directory
  2. Copy following three files to that directory
  a) client.exe (its the main executable)
  b) client.cfg (it has your email information, you may ignore it if you want)
  c) key.pub (this is very important, as in case of a library update, the executable needs this file for verifying the signature)
  NOTE: Copying the library file instead of key.pub will make it work temporarily, but not in the long run.
  Please check your clients if they are failing to update, this maybe the reason!
• Apr 13,2005: Windows Client Speedup.
  Features: Windows clients should now download a new library AUTOMATICALLY and work three times as fast compared with previous library.
• Mar 25,2005: Windows GUI Client updated. View | Download
  Features: tskill removed (all done internally now). Client priority set to least. Hidden GUI bug fixed.
